Yaz completed his post-graduate Orthodontic training at the University of Paris, France, from 2002 to 2006. He holds 3 post-graduate degrees in Orthodontics: Certificate of Post-graduate Studies in Dento-Facial Orthopaedics (CES) with distinction from the University of Paris V, France, Diploma in Applied Paediatric Orthodontics (DUOPA) and Diploma in Paediatric Orthodontics (DUOP) from the University of Paris VI, France. He obtained his BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) with distinction in 2000 from the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan.

Since 2002, Yaz has been practising exclusively in Orthodontics. He practised in the Orthodontic departments of four major hospitals in Paris, France. Afterwards, he moved to England where he has worked for many years delivering high quality NHS and private Orthodontics. Yaz built and created Premier Orthodontics in 2011 to provide outstanding care to patients in Bromley and the South East London area. Premier Orthodontics expanded in 2012 to Baker Street, Central London.

Yaz has a special interest in custom-made digital orthodontics and aesthetic orthodontics.  He is part of a selected group of clinicians who are pioneers in applying high-tech orthodontic solutions which are leading the new age of orthodontics. With many years of experience in the different techniques of child and adult orthodontics, Yaz participates on a regular basis in national and international courses and conferences to make sure he stays up to date in modern high-tech Orthodontics, which supports his ethos of delivering high quality Orthodontic treatment, centred on patient care and comfort.

He loves working closely with his dentist colleagues to achieve the best cosmetic results for his patients. He continually strives to provide his patients with an outstanding experience and top quality results.

Outside the practice, Yaz enjoys photography, graphic design, travelling and hiking whenever he gets a chance. He loves music, cinema, theatre or reading a book after work.

Practice Manager – Lydia Nafa

Lydia has many years of experience in Public Affairs, International Development and Marketing. Her new passion is to manage Premier Orthodontics and she is applying her previous experience to bring a touch of fresh air into providing orthodontic care to patients. She will make sure you are received well and that all your wishes are catered for at Premier Orthodontics. Any questions, queries or suggestions – she is the person to speak to!

In her time off work, Lydia enjoys swimming, being outdoors and she is passionate about arts and film.

Dental Nurse – Jennifer Kwarteng

Jenni is a qualified, registered dental nurse with 12 years experience in orthodontics as well as general, cosmetic, implant placement and restorative dentistry.  She is also a qualified dental radiographer and is certified to take impressions. Jenni has a keen interest in continued professional development and she likes to ensure all patients feel relaxed, at ease and comfortable during visits to the clinic.

In her free time, Jenni sings in a band and loves dancing.

Patient Coordinator – Sha Bainbridge

Sha will welcome you to Premier Orthodontics. Her background is in restaurant management and catering and she therefore knows exactly how to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere when you enter the practice. She is extremely efficient and organised and ensures the smooth running of our front desk.

Outside of work, Sha enjoys watching films and visiting art galleries. She is also a fan of real ale, football (watching not playing :-) and likes to read a good book.
