Patients say our team is 'professional, friendly and of the highest standard' - Read the results of our first patient survey

A big 'Thank you' to our patients who have given us such positive feedback. Here is a summary of the survey results:

 

 

 

 

 

 

What is the one thing you like the most about our practice?

Summary: Most comments mentioned the friendly atmosphere and the team, the second most named things were our professional approach, efficiency and competency as well as the communication about the treatment received and being involved in the orthodontic treatment.

"A warm welcome and a sense of efficiency and high competence, I was given a thorough and clear explanation of the nature of the problem and the technical process to correct the problem."

"The attention to details in every aspect of communication from the doctor to the reception."

"Good customer service, everything is explained in depth and there is a feeling that you want to do a good job instead of selling." 

"Everyone is so friendly!"

"For me the most important is the human contact. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly and they have time to listen to my concerns."

 

What is the one thing you like the least about our practice? 

Summary: More than 50% of the answers stated that they couldn't think of anything! Some patients pointed out that we are sometimes running late with our appointments and some said they would like to have the option of more than one day a week in our Baker Street practice (which is something we cannot offer at the moment unfortunately as we can't be in two places at the same time :-), but we will keep this in mind for the future).

What we have done to adress your concerns:

Running late: We are aware that sometimes we run a little bit late with our appointment schedule. We have already taken steps to improve this by making our standard appointments longer to make sure we have enough time to do what is needed in each appointment for each individual patient. A recent audit shows that waiting times have decreased significantly since and we now see over 80% of all our patients on time or with no more than a 10-minute wait.

However, sometimes, due to unforeseen circumstances, additional time may be required in the surgery in order to complete treatment to our high standards. This will inevitably mean a delay for the next patients. We will always try to advise you as early as possible if we are running late. Please rest assured that we are always trying to be as much on time as possible.

Christmas Holidays

Christmas and New Year Opening Times

Dear Patients,

Firstly, we would like to wish you Happy Holidays and a great start in the New Year!

Please note that Premier Orthodontics will be closed between Monday 17th December and Thursday 3rd January for Christmas and New Year.

Reception will still be manned between 10am and 7pm on the following dates; Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st December, on 27th & 28th December and from 2nd January onwards. Any time outside these hours, you can leave a message with our answering service and we will check these messages at least once a day and endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
Orthodontic emergencies are very rare, but when they do occur we are available to help you.

Please follow these steps if you have an urgent concern regarding your brace…
1)    Check out the Q&A here which addresses the most common issues arising when wearing braces; most of these are easy to deal with and you can often alleviate the problem yourself.  
2)    Should you not find the answer to your query in the Q&A, please don’t hesitate to call us on 0208 46 64 64 and we will be happy to advise you.
3)    Should you need to be seen urgently, we have an agreement with a local dental practice to see you over this period and our receptionist will arrange this for you. The dental practice may charge you for the emergency appointment on the day, but we will be happy to reimburse you when you next come to see us.
4)    If, for whatever reason, you cannot get in touch with anyone at the practice and you need to see someone immediately, you can call NHS Direct on 0845 4647 48 and they can find an emergency dentist in your area.

24 hour Cancellation Policy

Update to our Cancellation Policy

We have clarified and updated our appointment cancellation policy. At Premier Orthodontics, there are NO HIDDEN FEES, so please make yourself familiar with our 24 hour appointment cancellation policy

Feeling unwell? Something urgent came up? Please let us know by telephone (0208 460 64 64), leave us a message or email us AT LEAST 24 HOURS before your appointment time. This will allow us to allocate the time to someone else who may need it. Shorter notices, for any reason, will automatically incur a charge of £90 for prime time (Saturday and after 5.30pm weekdays) and £60 for other times.

CPD Lecture Programme starting next week!

Our CPD lecture programme will start on Thursday 27 Sept 2012

Premier Orthodontics is starting a series of CPD lectures for dental professionals in the Bromley / South East London area.

We have compiled an intriguing programme over the next couple of months for the entire dental team. We will cover business development topics that will take your practice to the next level, in addition to core subjects such as medical emergencies and infection control as well as deeper insights into modern orthodontics.

As we are all faced with the ever changing and more challenging economic environment, we have teamed up with a very special expert who has helped many businesses increase their returns and build long term stability to kick start the lecture series. Alison Warner of Evolve and Grow Business Coaching has kindly accepted to share her knowledge and the first presentation starts Thursday 27th September 2012:
